To a Forgotten Land

It is said of Abraham…
“His eyes of FAITH were set on the city with unshakable foundations, whose architect and builder is God Himself.” Hebrews 11:10
Our daughter Isabella shared recently that she felt homesick but for a place she doesn’t know. Have you ever felt that longing but couldn’t quite put your finger on what you were craving? Abraham felt that, I like to call it, “The Pull.” God has put eternity in our hearts, and we are, in a sense homesick and that’s not a bad thing. Whenever we feel that PULL, almost a sense of longing loneliness, don’t ignore it, draw near to His heart, It’s His tug, pulling on your shirt tails to be with Him, yes, He is lonesome for us!
Galatians 4:6-7 confirms this PULL. “And so that we would know that we are his true children, God released the Spirit of Sonship into our hearts-moving us to cry out intimately, “My Father! My true Father!” Now we’re no longer living like slaves under the law, but we enjoy being God’s very own sons and daughters!
We long for Him, He is our home. I truly believe He is also preparing Heavenly Places on this earth for His GLORY to inhabit and he is putting that PULL on specific people’s hearts to build such places. Starting with our very own homes!
Perhaps our family has moved so much because of that longing for God’s city and just haven’t found it yet. I know that may sound strange but as we were traveling, and had arrived in Iowa to stay for a while and help, I was carrying our belongings into the house and I heard the Spirit of the Lord say, “You’re not there yet, keep going.” Oh what would I do without His Fatherly council? Such peace and yet, Really Lord?!! J u s t s u r r e n d e r. . . . . t r u s t . . . . . Give God permission to write your own families’ story however unique it may be. It’s ALWAYS bigger than your understanding and capability. Hope fills my heart as I meditate on the phrase: “The capable are not available so I will make the available, capable!” Yes, Lord, for your GLORY.
As we prepare to go to this foreign soil,, in only 16 more days, we are challenged to not figure everything out and over plan, but to just be in Him and “Go and see”.
Just this week a friend shared that when she was called to a nation, she had a dream that as she placed her feet on the ground in that land, a great light went from her feet deep into the ground and if that wasn’t enough, that bright light then coursed up and through the peoples. So we believe Lord, and YES have your way!
Join with us in praying for the original covenant in the land (an anonymous large country in Asia) to be restored, recognized and to stand once again.

There’s a sweet sweet Spirit in the place, and I know that it’s the Spirit of the Lord.
There are sweet expressions on each face and I know they feel the Presence of the Lord.
Sweet Holy Spirit, sweet Heavenly Dove, stay right here with us filling us with your Love.
And for these blessings we lift our hearts in praise, without a doubt we’ll know that we have been revived when we shall leave this place.

We are no longer in the time of passive prayer. There has been a shift and we are in the era of receiving our inheritance and walking in our true identity as Sons and Daughters and Kings and Priests. What do Kings do? Kings Decree. “Decree a thing and it shall be established for you!” Job 22:28 “The created world itself can hardly wait for what’s coming next. Everything in creation is being more or less held back. God reins it in until both creation and all the creatures are ready and can be released at the same moment into the glorious times ahead.” Rom 8:20 Are you ready to step up into your true self. Be who you are and creation will be released from its groaning state.
Declaring and Decreeing is a wonderful upgrade of our prayers and the fruit of your lips will surely come to pass. It’s so easy. Take a verse, a promise that the Lord highlights to you and camp out there. Let’s say you’re in a difficult court case, grab onto Psalm 91. It says,
“He will rescue you from every hidden trap of the enemy,
and he will protect you from false accusation
and any deadly curse.”
Perfect.
Now let’s turn it into a personal declaration.
“I Declare and Decree as a Righteous Child of God that
you are rescuing me from every hidden trap of the enemy,
and you are protecting me from false accusation
and any deadly curse.” Don’t you like the sound of that!
